ML. Studio, based in Bucharest, Romania, is an architecture and design studio with 10 years of expertise. The approach to each project is tailored to the requirements of the brief, client, and site, and realized through a combination of rigour, technical expertise and enthusiasm for building. We specialize in the range of architecture, interior design, retail, product design and brand strategy.

Methodology.
Every project regardless of scale is developed with a tailored design resulting from an understanding of context, program needs and budget constraints, all of which yield innovative architectural solutions. As young creatives we love to experiment and explore the unknown, adopt an out of the box way of thinking. Every project is a unique instrument of investigation into details, materials and narrative. Quality and compliance with deadlines are our trademarks just as much as our claim to create something unique with each new project.
Collaborative process.
The studio looks to work in close collaboration with other consultants from the outset, including early appointment of suppliers and contractors where suitable to provide input on buildabilty, programme, and monitoring of costs throughout the development of the design.

ML. Studio is driven by a commitment to good design. In simple terms, this implies the making of spaces that are not only efficient, cost effective and technically sound, but are also sustainable, comfortable and pleasing to be in. The approach is holistic, with the same care and consideration given to the smallest detail as to the most appropriate and satisfactory arrangement of the building in the context of its site and surroundings.

Preparing for the consultation.
In the case of interior design projects, in preparation for the meeting it is helpful if clients email us the interiors with details of floor plans or architectural plans that they may have. Depending on the size and scope of the project, if plans aren’t available, measurements may be take on site as part of the initial consultation visit, or a full survey may be organised. For architectural projects, such as residential houses, it would be helpful if clients email us the site plans they have at their disposal and a rough estimation of their project requirements.
During the first meeting.
The initial consultation is the client’s opportunity to share their vision, ideas and requirements with us, and to ask any questions to help them understand the process. We will try to learn about the client’s personality, lifestyle, tastes and style preferences.
We will listen carefully to each client’s ideas, inspirations and practical requirements and ask for clippings, images and inspirations that they may like to share. We will then introduce some of our first suggestions in order to formulate the design brief.
Following the meeting.
Following the meeting, we will send the client a detailed proposal for the work stages involving the project. Depending on the size and scope of a project, there may be several further meetings to explore and develop a full brief for the project.
